God is an individual, and we are also individuals". Nitya nityanam cetanas cetananam (Katha Upanisad 2. 2. 13.) "Of all the eternal, conscious, individual persons, one is supreme." God is always supreme and you cannot ever join individual consciousness with Universal consciousness or God".
